Businessman & Community Leader Vows to Serve Greater Rochester Region with Compassion & Dedication
ROCHESTER, NY - Len Morrell today officially announced his campaign for New York State Senate District 56. Morrell is an experienced and compassionate business entrepreneur, and the Founder & CEO of two corporations and one Community Outreach Center.
“This election is about making our neighborhoods safer, more affordable, and improved so all may have a path forward in our state,” Len Morrell said. “I am running because I love New York. For far too long, Albany politicians have put special interests and law-breakers ahead of hardworking, law-abiding taxpayers in our state. I will put the people first when I am your state Senator.”
Former State Senator Robach added,“Rochester deserves a State Senator who will work for the people and put politics last. Len Morrell is a successful entrepreneur who will put the needs of Rochester residents first. Our local business owners are struggling and there is no help coming from Albany politicians. Len is an outsider and not part of the status quo. He is one of us.”
“I will support our brave men and women in uniform. I will value the lives and dignity of our seniors, those struggling with addiction and mental illness, and other vulnerable New Yorkers. I will work FOR the taxpayers…NOT AGAINST them. Now more than ever, we need to restore common sense to our state,” state Senate candidate Morrell concluded.
Flanked by family, friends, former Senator Joe Robach and other Rochester dignitaries, Morrell committed to run a campaign of the people, by the people, and for the people. He will hit the ground running, meet as many of his future constituents as possible, and discuss real issues that matter to families in the 56th Senate district.

I’m honored to announce my candidacy for New York State Senate, representing Monroe County. I want to thank……..
I’ve been a go-getter my whole life…As an experienced and compassionate business entrepreneur, I am the Founder & CEO of two corporations and one Community Outreach Center.
But first, I am born-and-bred in Rochester, through and through.
I come from a Catholic, hardworking, blue collar family. I worked my own way through college.
I built everything I have with no partners, no family money, no government money…just my faith in God and my belief in the American dream.
Now I am running for State Senate because I love New York.
I grew up in this diverse, economic, culturally rich state.
I am here today because we need to set our state right again.
For years now, our streets haven’t been safe.
Our cost-of-living has been going up as our opportunities to grow have diminished.
We are losing New Yorkers by the hundreds and thousands every day, to other parts of our country with better opportunities.
I am here to say that we can be the Empire State AGAIN.
To be clear, I’m not a politician…never have been.
I’m an independent man from outside of government who wants to make a difference.
I am a volunteer and I am proud of the fact that I don’t know the ins and outs of Albany.
Because that’s the problem with Albany politicians these days. The Governor and our state legislature put politics before our people.
They chase hardworking New York taxpayers out of our state, and they put common criminals before law enforcement, victims, and law-abiding residents.
I will PUT PEOPLE FIRST when I’m your state Senator.
I will support our brave men and women in uniform.
I will value the lives and dignity of our seniors, those struggling with addiction and mental illness, and other vulnerable New Yorkers.
I will make sure we keep politics out of our childrens’ classrooms and give parents their voice back.
I will work to provide better economic opportunity so families and businesses WANT to stay in New York.
I will work FOR the taxpayers…NOT AGAINST them.
I will work for a better quality of life. More affordability. A stronger workforce. Accountability in our state government. Checks and balances.
Now more than ever, we need to restore common sense and sanity to our state.
I promise that this will be a campaign of the people, by the people, and for the people.
I look forward to hitting the ground running to meet with as many people as I can throughout the new 56th district to discuss the real issues that matter to you and your families.
Together, we can Take Back New York. Thank you.
